As Christians commemorated the birth of Jesus Christ 2 days ago, members of the Islamic movement of Nigeria known as shia, nassarawa state branch visited a church in lafia, the state capital, to show their solidarity with its characters population on Friday.

According to our verified sources, the prayer session was held at the evangelical reformed church of Christ ERCC ,graceland lafia, nassarawa state.

The leader of the Islamic group mallam, muhammed Amin submitted that they were at the church to pray for the healing of the country and the state in particular as well as to rejoice with Christians for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Chris

We are here today worshipping here with our Christians brothers /sisters to strengthen our bond of unity, oneness and to pray for the healing and forgiveness of our country and nassarawa in particular, he said.

Speaking further Hajia zaniab mohammed said that there Is no discrimination in worshiping God, hence theres need for people to tolerate/accomodate one another irrespective of their religion and personal beliefs.
