It was an excited moment with the South West Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) and Chief Niyi Akintola, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Oyo state.

During the introduction, some facts were revealed about Akintola which showed that Akintola was from a very low background and had a very rough childhood up-bring.

According to the media aid, Mr. Mobolaji Oladepo, “Niyi Akintola childhood was very rough and he had a very tough experience “
“He went to three different primary schools after which he was given admission to secondary education which he eventually forfeited because of unavailability of fund”

“He later went to the north and learnt how to repair cars, so he became a mechanic and thereafter he was selling plank at a particular point in time”

Mobolaji said, “Akintola’s tertiary education was sponsored by a group of Ibadan People called “Lagelu 16” due to his outstanding Intelegence.

In his own remark, Niyi Akintola attributed all his achievements and attainment to the grace of God upon him and nothing more.
