THE newly elected Oyo state chairman of the Road Transport Employer’s Association of Nigeria (RTEAN),Comrade Kamorudeen Idowu , popularly known as OWOGESI , has promised a new renaissance in the union during his tenure.
He made this promised while addressing journalists shortly after his inauguration in Abuja last week Friday.
Owogesi who has always been know for his uniqueness and cooperation among RTEAN both in Oyo state and throughout Nigeria , said the difference he is going to usher into the union can only drive it positively forward.
Let me assure all our members that the kind of renaissance that my administration is going to bring into our union is going to be one of a kind in the history of RTEAN in Oyo state.
I am not unaware off the full support that our members gave me before and after the election . I promise to make the welfare and progress of the union members a top priority of my administration.
The development and progress of RTEAN is very important and cannot be over- emphasized. No stone would be left unturned to bring this to fruition as soon as possible. The Oyo state RTEAN chairman said
OWOGESI, while commending the RTEAN National President, Alhaja Musa Muhammed Maitakobi 1, for his exemplary leadership said that he is eagerly looking forward to work together with him in order to set the union on the road towards enduring progress and achievement.
According to him in any organisation, synergy of goals, vision and mission cannot be discountenance as doing so can only engender a negative effort and connotation.
Alhaji Muhammed is a rough peg in a round hole and he has continued to prove his mettle whenever he is called upon to discharge his responsibilities.
OWOGESI said that Alahji Mohammed is a leader of Leaders and he believes that working together with him would bring positive to RTEAN in the country. He said RTEAN is moving to a glorious height on him.
Comrade Kamorudeen Idowu was full of encomiums for Governor Seyi MAKINDE of Oyo state, saying that his administration has ushered in a new era in the People’s lives.
He added that Governor Seyi MAKINDE through his many giant strides has shown that the welfare of the people is the main priority of any government that should not be neglected at anytime.
I pray that he would continue to grow from strength to strength in his efforts to make available dividend of democracy to the door- steps of the residents and people of Oyo state.
Comrade Kamorudeen Idowu, however appreciated all those who have contributed to his emergence as the RTEAN chairman, Oyo state Chapter.
He thanks all leaders and elder in the Oyo state.
