Agba Jalingo, the journalist charged with conspiracy, terrorism, treasonable felony and an attempt to topple the Cross River State Government has finally been released from detention after perfecting his bail condition on Monday. Earlier, he was granted N10million bail by the Federal High Court in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

Jalingo was arrested on the orders of Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, after he raised questions on the whereabouts of N500m meant for the establishment of Cross River Microfinance Bank. Mr. Jalingo who is also the Publisher of Cross River Watch has spent over four months in detention.
