Alfa Olore’s Saga: Makinde pardons, Olore returns to Islamic center earlier marked for demolition

Olore Islamic Centre, under the Leadership of Khalifa Muhammed Abdurasheed Olore has expressed his deepest gratitude to the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the pardon granted him and his family as they return to the Islamic Centre which serves as their residence. Abdurasheed Olore in a news obtained by reporters said,

“On the permission of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Khalifa Muhammed Abdurasheed Olore and members of the Olore Family today today 9th of May,2020 returned to the Olore Islamic centre, Ojoo, Ibadan.”
“May Allah’s Grace, Mighty Protection and Abundant Mercy Be Ever Sufficient On His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, His Deputy, Engr Rauf Olaniyan, the Entire OYSG, the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land , The Seriki Musulumi of Yoruba land, H.E Senator Rashidi Ladoja. The grand Chief of Oyo State, Sheikh Agbotomokekere, Chairman MUSCOY, Yeyeluwa-Alhaja Bosede Adedibu , Asiwaju Musulumi of Ibadan land, Alhaji Mutiu Oladeji, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, all of you and the good people of Oyo State”

Recall Governor Seyi Makinde had ordered the demolition of the Correctional Centre where 259 inmates were rescued in an operation led by the State Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu 191 men, 34 women, 11 children and 23 sick persons who were illegally held captive,some in chains, were freed, while nine suspects including the owner of the centre were arrested.
