LG Crisis: Oluyole Caretaker Chairman Resumes Office In Aleshinloye’s Absentia

The Caretaker Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon Settle Olaide Popoola, was received into the local government Secretariat by thousands of Oluyole residents including market men and women, traders and artisans and community Leaders across the local government.


The youthful Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Olaide Popoola Settle, while addressing the crowd advised Oluyole residents to shun act of hooliganism and join hands with Governor Seyi Makinde government and his administration for the progress of Oluyole LG and Oyo State in general.


Hon. Olaide Settle later received Executives of Agara Community Landlord Association and Olonde Landlord Association who have come to seek for the Hon. Olaide Settle administration’s assistance to repair their dilapidated roads and health infrastructures which were left undone by the former APC government in Oluyole Local Government.


The Chairman therefore told the gathering that members of NULGE will soon resume to their duty post as normalcy as return to local government and the skirmishes of the last few days is what’s expected when anti democratic agents are bent on continuing with their looting spree.


At the Oluyole Local Secretariat was the Assembly Member Representing Oluyole State Constituency, Hon. Francis Adetunji, Hon Ayo Adedeji, Oyo State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Engr Akeem Olatunji II, Oluyole Local Government PDP Chairman, Alh Mukaila Adegbola, Government Liaison Officer, Hon Olumide Akinlade Okelawa, and many other Leaders….
