The august guild of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS)/ Joint Campus Committee in Oyo state is using this moment to wish the Executive Governor of Oyo state and his cabinet a happy new year; and making a unanimous echoes of appeal soliciting for the support of His Excellency, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde, for the settlement of the accumulated West African examination bills.
We appreciate the candid commitment of the governor associated towards the improvement of contemporary education in the state, and the alleviation of encumbrances responsible for this dire state.
In a statement made available to Double A Exclusive Media, Oyo NANS said, there have been a critical oversight in the area of unsettled West African Examination Council arrears, which spells a portentous heat of misery for many concerned students across the state.
We urge the State educational ministry not to overlook this our appeal, and to pay an attentive ear to our plea as such an unpleasant situation may handicap some students.
The NANS JCC Oyo state is therefore issuing a proclamation soliciting for the benevolent intervention of the government to ensure that the appropriate action is dispensed. The future of many promising minds is at stake.
Your Excellency sir, as we look forward to positive outcome, we also hope and pray that your remaining years of this administration will continuously make the generality of the people of Oyo state proud.
